The MSIT is completed in three full-time semesters. You’ll complete a suite of core courses and additional advanced-level courses in the focus track of your choice, culminating in a real-world capstone experience. RPI’s experts are leading and innovating on the cutting edge of AI, blockchain, data science, and data analytics, and you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside them as they find solutions to society’s most pressing challenges through data, technology, and web science.
Professional Track: Capstone Project
You’ll select, develop, and present a significant technology implementation project for a real organization, incorporating strategy, systems development, and business planning.
Research Track: Project or Thesis
